ABOUT

A New Chapter for Our Community

Over the years, many of you have come to know Kintsugi Yoga as our yoga teacher training school — a place where brokenness becomes beauty, where cracks are filled with gold, and where students step into their strength as teachers and leaders.

At the same time, we’ve been slowly weaving something larger: a collective of seekers, dreamers, teachers, and healers who gather in pursuit of truth, connection, and growth. That bigger vision is now ready to fully emerge.

Introducing Seek Yoga Collective

Seek Yoga Collective is the heart and home of everything we do. Rooted in the question “What are you seeking?”, Seek was born from the desire to create a community where practice and life, ancient wisdom and modern living, the personal and the collective all meet.

Seek is now the parent brand — the umbrella under which all our offerings live.

  • Seek Knowledge → Yoga Teacher Trainings & Advanced Education

  • Seek Experiences → Retreats, Immersions, and Transformational Travel

  • Seek Yoga Collective App → Our global community space for connection, continued education, and inspiration

What About Kintsugi Yoga?

The spirit of Kintsugi will always be at the heart of our trainings — honoring the cracks, finding the gold, and turning the practice of yoga into a path of embodied leadership. From this moment forward, however, Kintsugi Yoga will live inside Seek Yoga Collective as Seek Knowledge, the branch of our brand devoted to teacher training and advanced study.

This change allows us to grow with clarity, while keeping the essence that has always made our trainings unique.

Why This Evolution?

Because yoga is not just about teaching a class — it’s about seeking something deeper. By bringing everything into one unified brand, we can expand our reach, simplify our communication, and offer a more seamless journey for everyone in our community, whether you’re stepping into your first retreat, pursuing your 200-hour training, or seeking connection and continued growth through our app.

Together, We Seek

This is just the beginning. As Seek Yoga Collective evolves, our commitment remains the same: to offer spaces where you can remember your wholeness, step into your purpose, and share your light with the world.

We are so grateful for every one of you who has been part of the Kintsugi story — and we can’t wait to continue this journey with you as part of Seek Yoga Collective.

Step In, Expand Out.

Catherine Wetenkamp

FOUNDER

Catherine Wetenkamp is not just a teacher—she is a living embodiment of the yogic path, guiding others into their deepest power with clarity, reverence, and transformative presence.

A lineage-rooted educator, storyteller, and visionary guide, Cat is the founder of Kintsugi Yoga School and SEEK Yoga Collective—a groundbreaking app designed to support yoga teachers in embodied leadership and ongoing evolution (coming soon - Fall 2025).

With over 5,000 hours of teaching experience and 1,200+ hours of advanced training, Cat has led dozens of 200- and 300-hour yoga teacher trainings across the globe. Her work synthesizes power vinyasa, kriya, meditation, and Tantric philosophy—offering a rare depth of practice that initiates students into their own power as ritualists, leaders, and wise teachers.

Cat will deepen her devotion through advanced initiatory study at Sattva Yoga Academy with Anand Mehrotra in Rishikesh, India, entering both the Master Teacher Training and the Dasha Mahavidya Initiator Training. This sacred path places her among a select group of Western teachers entrusted to share the divine feminine teachings of the Mahavidyas within an unbroken Himalayan Tantric lineage. Her work is not merely instructional—it is devotional, radical, and liberatory.

Cat’s teachings have touched thousands—from sold-out crowds at Yoga on the Rocks (3x featured teacher) to elite athletes like the Denver Broncos, whom she supports in mindfulness, recovery, and resilience. Across retreats, teacher trainings, and transformational spaces, she brings yoga into both peak performance and the quiet grit of everyday life.

A lifelong student of goddess mythology, non-dual Tantra, and the inner technology of awakening, Cat teaches with heart and clarity. Her classes are not simply sequences—they are portals, alive with breath, story, sweat, and silence. Through her work, students don’t just learn yoga—they become it.

FACILITATOR & MENTOR

Cat McElveen is, first and foremost, a human and a woman. Her life’s work is rooted in weaving women’s spaces for healing, connection, and witnessing. Through her practice and study of classical Tantra and Kriya yoga, along with somatic and movement-based modalities, she teaches the art of accepting yourself fully through feeling, not fixing.

After a lifelong personal study of yoga, Cat studied traditional Hatha, Tantra, and Kriya yoga in India at Sattva Yoga Academy. With over 500 hours of study with her teachers, Cat is passionate about sharing the authentic roots of yoga and honoring its origins. Her classes and retreats include extensive breath, meditation, mantra, and movement practices to shift energy powerfully and bring the body, mind, and heart into coherence.

Along with yoga and meditation teaching, Cat is currently pursuing a master's in clinical mental health counseling with a focus on somatics and trauma. She is also a devoted dog mama, lover of sunshine, oceans, and rivers, a daughter, a sister, and a lover of delicious food and good wine.

Cat sits in reverence to her teachers: Anand Mehrotra, Christopher Wallis, Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji, and Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswatiji.
